Straight from the field, Ralf Fröstel from Normann Engineering joined one of the customers, who had invested in the EasyFlow SMART.
In this case, a 144-fiber cable with a diameter of 8.1 mm needed to be blown out of an existing 14 mm pipe and installed into a newly laid 14 mm pipe. The blowing distance was 320 m, with a maximum speed of 60 m per minute.
Compressed air was introduced only after 220 m (at 2.5 bar) and was slightly increased to 3.5 bar toward the end. The entire blowing process took just 5 minutes – smooth and easy. Ralf shares his experience with EasyFlow SMART:
“It’s really easy to use and offers auto-configuration for beginners. At the same time, experienced users can manually adjust the settings. It also performs perfectly electrically in this case.”
